The new Mayor of Eastbourne, Greg Szanto came to visit the band on a friday night band practice. The mini band piped the new Mayor in playing ‘Dawning of the Day’, the Mayor was introduced to all the members of the band. Two of our youngest pipers played a tune on their chanters for the Mayor. Afterwards, we all had a cuppa and homemade scones during which we engaged in light hearted chatter.
