On the 26th and 27th of July, Hailsham town council close the high street and put on an annual but ancient event called the Hailsham Charter Market. The day is full of music, bouncy castles, fun-fair rides, lots of food, sweets and also some stalls from France adding to the wonderful sights and smells. We attend this event every year and have lots of fun.
